new-starfield-update-adds-fov-slider-and-stability-improvements

Whether you prefer a first-person or third-person perspective in Starfield, you can now adjust your field of view in the spacefaring RPG. Bethesda Game Studios released a new update for the game that includes the FOV slider and other improvements.

For PC players, the developer says it's "improved stability for Intel Arc GPUs." There are also "performance improvements" across the board for Starfield, but Bethesda didn't go into detail on its website. Last but not least, a progression bug for the Echoes of the Past quest was fixed.

This 1.7.36 update comes two weeks after the 1.7.33 patch that fixed freezing issues, game crashes, and disappearing NPCs. Bethesda has promised a steady release of updates for Starfield throughout the future, and the FOV slider was previously listed as a feature on the way. Official modding support is supposed to arrive sometime next year for the RPG.

Last month, Starfield rocketed past 10 million players, with the game being called the biggest launch in Bethesda's history. It is notable that the game is included in Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscriptions.
